BMW Canada are probably too busy trying to patch up their crappy java configurator to do any actual updates.

And I thought I was only one with problems with their crappy
Config. Compare with the US one. Also the pricing for it doesn't Allow for trade in if you have one. Overall a poor design. |

I was part of the team that re-architected BMW Canada's site years back (2005). The configurator hasn't changed. It's actually a third party that owns the actual configurator, and licenses it out to a bunch of car manufacturers (who supply the data to fill it in). It was, and still is, a flaming piece of shit like the Java platform it was built on. |

Well BMW sent me email about 2014 f30 for Canada and looks as if
No msport pack on the 328i . and with all the neg comments I am reading On the poor steering feel and cheap materials in it compared to e90 3 series this car is not on my list. I will await the 4 series coupe and M235i later this year. Until then I will continue to enjoy my 128i 6 speed man Coupe the last true classic BMW driving experience . |

Looks like its available for prime time now. Intersting how the price didn't go up in Canada but did in the US. |

Interesting that adaptive headlights and high beam assist were standard on earlier 2013 model 335i and 335 Xdrive are now part of paid option packages.....

No M Sport package for RWD or xDrive 335i's now? Looks like the Activehybrid 3 is the only one that gets it now. That is pretty bizzaire. Am I reading it wrong?

Msport is now standard on 335i and 335i x drive. So this is a $2,300 discount over MY2013, plus they are now throwing in Sirius XM and front PDC if you were opting for the premium package for same price, not to mention NBT NAV .

Hmm, that is interesting. All 335i's are now M Sports. There goes my M Sport exclusivity. LOL
Regarding the $2,300 discount... that is a bummer. But if you opt for the 19" 403M wheels/tires and M Sport brakes it would have only cost $850 for 2013. Now it will cost $1,500 b/c they have bundled Variable Sport Steering and Adaptive M Suspension with it. Better value for sure. Also, High-Beam Assistant appears not to be standard anymore (part of Executive Package). |

Adding new standard items each year is part of the course with BMW to keep up demand and compete against other new competition. My 2008 335 xdrive did not have leather, sport seats, or 18" wheels as standard items. Going back 10 years, dynamic stability control was an option.........

yup personally i think the 2014 has better value? The 2014 335i is 58k before tax and fees and my 2013 with same options was 61k before tax and fees. with same options on both. The prices i am comparing it are MSRP

Plus you now get M Sport for free which previously was an add-on...great pricing for 2014 customers.

Doesn't this happen every year? I mean, let's look back at MY2012, they got royally screwed when MY2013 came up. And now it's our turn...
