Pre-purchase used car inspection in Bellevue

My dad is bying a used volvo V70 vagon, which looks and drives great. However, based on many complaints as to the reliablity, we want to take it to a local shop for an inspection. Can anyone recommend a good place to do that in Bellevue/Redmond? Thanks.

Doesn't AAA do an onsite inspection? I think they have a special rate for AAA members...

ATG - I know you said Bellevue or Redmond, but have you ever tried Auburn Foreign and Domestic? I have never actually used them, but I've had many people recommend them to me. They are advertised in Zundfolge, and they offer pre-purchase inspections. They also offer a cca discount.

The owner has a 335, complete with Procede.

It might be too far for you though. Here is their site:

Thanks Normtrum. Based on the car's stellar service record at Barrier and overall good condition (1 owner, bought new, moves out of the country), we decided to forego the inspection and just to buy it as is. The price is very good too. Maybe its stupid ...

No, I don't think it was stupid at all. It sounds like you did your homework on this car. I mean, I'm thinking of selling my e46 330i, and I know an inspection would not be needed, based on the care I've given this car since I've had it. I think Barrier is a good dealer, so I don't think they would steer you in the wrong direction.
