Fun day at the office...I mean the track :P

Summit Point Track in West Virginia for the Colonial Challenge Cup.
The firm I work for is one of the sponsors for this charity event and my boss, knowing that I am a car freak, invited me to spend the day having fun at the track. I have never been to a track and what a blast it was! Esp. being out of the office on a perfect sunny/mild day. I saw lots and lots of E90/92s 335's (should have been its own meet

) Mine was the sole 330i of the group.

I drove with the beginner group with an instructor and really felt what my E90 could do around the turns, my boss's Corvette had nothing on my

around the hairpin turns!! Except when we came to a straightaway and

he was gone!

Fun, fun day. I might have found a new hobby.

It definetly was addicting. I know they host these charity events couple times a year and I have already told my boss I want in next time.

BTW none of the E90/92 owners knew about E90Post so I had to do some E90Post marketing as well. We might get few more members soon.

looks like a fun time! those are some NICE CARS! if you weren't in beginner, you'd probably lag to beginner level when competing with cars like that

nice shots too. the panning shots are clean

I took a ride in modded 993 with the advanced group and they had lots of 335's (both Sedans & Coupes) hanging right in there with Porsches and Vette Z06's. I was amazed. Maybe because this course had lot of twisties. I must say they had Lot of advanced drivers. The modded 993 I took a ride in had

brakes, stopped on a dime, I almost threw up and peed in my pants at the same time

Yes. 19" Hyperblack CSL's. Shouldnt be taking it out on the tracks with 19's but it was my first event and I took it easy.
