Being in Canada, it seems I am expected to be Monkey raped by our local dealers and actually thank them for the opportunity.

Since their generous offer is almost twice what some online dealers are offering in the US, I am starting to look to the South.
I can have the MPPK shipped to a US address no problem and for free, but I was wondering about the size and weight of the Kit as I will have to have it shipped from my US contact to my home.
I need the one with the extra DME, so if anyone would be kind enough to give me an approximate size and weight of the package, It would help in prepping the shipping.

Why not just go across the border and get it shipped and installed at the US Dealer?

talk to the guys from Tischer BMW (getbmwparts.com) they're very responsive and super awesome to work with. For the same reasons as yourself, i'm getting raped by my local BMW dealer for the M-perf. aero kit so i've decided to go through Tischer instead.

I was able to get one of their sales guys to forward me to their shipping department and they were able to tell me the dimensions and weight of the package they'd be shipping so i was able to get an accurate quote with fedex etc.

Tischer's website says they only ship within the US. I am still a bit sceptical of getting it from the States in case the dealers up hear don't want to deal with the install.

BTW, if anyone wants a half-decent Canadian deal on the PPK, PM me as I have worked out a pretty good price with Town+Country in Markham.

I already checked with my dealer and if it is OEM, they will install it, so no issues with the MPPK. PM on its way out of curiosity. I was quoted $1820 plus install, really?

they dont, but if you do the local pickup option when checking out you can specify a note to let them know that a courier/shipping company of your choice will go to their location to pick the parts up.

When the parts are ready they'll send you a note confirming this and then you can send your courier/shipping company of choice to go and pick up the parts.

It's convoluted but i still end up saying $600CAD after shipping than if i were to go with my local dealer.

I was planning to drive down to the US with another member on this forum (seagull) but if you can get a similar deal, we may not have to.

16.30 lbs shipping weight. The box looks pretty big so from the pix (probably cuz of the new engine cover)
