Looking to lease an MSport 335i

Am I dreaming in color if I am looking to get behind the wheel of another manual 335i MSport in a metallic color with 19" 403m wheels and executive package for $850 tax in with no money down on a lease in the greater Montreal area? I pay less than that for my current e90 MSport 335 with similar options. Closest any dealer has come to is $950ish tax in. Anyone know if April incentives will be better on the 335i that the current march 4.9% lease rate for 39 months?

No. US dealers are not allowed to sell to anyone who does not have a permanent US address. You can buy a used vehicle and import it (6.1% import duty applies), but that rules out leasing through BMW.

Yes I am looking for RWD and I am willing to pay first and last as usual. Best deal I got so far is Alpine White with Coral Red, 19" 403 wheels, M sport brakes NO OTHER PACKAGES for $860 tax in no cash down except first and last. I feel like it's a lot though.

There really isn't any rocket science to this. The dealer margin is just over 9%. Incentives are well documented and so are residuals. No dealer is going to give you the car for less than MSRP, minus their margin, minus incentives.

The monthly payment is a misleading number, too. You should be looking for the largest discount off MSRP from the dealer's profits, plus whatever cash and interest rate incentives are in play at that time. A lease payment is simply a function of these variables; the dealer has no ability to lower the payment other than the size of discount you get off MSRP.

What is the discount the dealer is offering you, and what are the residual, interest rate and incentives?

This is the deal they are offering. No cash down except first payment and security deposit. 4.9% lease, 39 months. They gave me 8.25% discount plus 1k loyalty rebate plus 1k fleet rebate. Residual is 53% and the car they would order is an alpine white manual 335xi with m sport line, coral red interior, 19" 403 wheels and m sport brakes. $865 tax in over 39 months. I'm a little bummed because I was hoping to get executive with the navigation for this price but that package is 4500 and it would bring the price to almost 975 a month. I'm hoping April incentives might see the interest rate go down and possibly lease term go to 48 months which may give me that nav package in the 850 tax in range. Also not loving the fact that its an xi. I'd much prefer rwd like the one I have now but the residual on them is 5% less so that's out of the question.

What do you guys think?

What dealer gave you this deal? How many km are included?

I'd like to know this as well.

Financials look just about right, Ontario readers keep in mind that Quebec taxes are higher. We need the full lowdown - MSRP, discount, options, residual percentage & value, kms/yr, APR, protection products...

You are better off with an xDrive anyway, just because of the higher residuals. However, a word of advice: if you are a current RWD owner with sport suspension and are used to the firmer setup in the E90, you MUST get Adaptive M Suspension ($500 MSRP) on your build or else you might regret it as the stock suspension is a bit 'floaty' but that's a matter of personal taste. I have not tested a car with 403M's so it might not be that bad - wheel size plays an important role in that department. Keep in mind that all xDrives have the same suspension setup, regardless of line or package - the only exception is when your car has Adaptive M Suspension. The Adaptive setup is actually smoother (isolates from uneven pavement, etc) when set in Comfort mode, firms up and handles like it's on rails when set to Sport.

When is your current lease due?

16,000km a year. Deal is being offered by BMW Laval. They ordered the car yesterday and I was under the impression that it was AWD. This was all done by phone. I called back around 3:30 to make sure it was a RWD but then they told me it was XDrive since the residuals made no sense on RWD. I then told my sales advisor to definitely order the M Adaptive and he said it was too late to amend the vehicle and since tomorrow (today) they would be closed there was nothing that could be changed on it and it would be delivered AS ORDERED. Since I was skeptical about paying all that $ for a pretty basic car I told them I'd only order the car and leave a deposit IF I could opt out by next Friday if the April incentives made more sense or if basically I could not wrap my mind around the car's lack of options. I'm 50/50 at this point and the only hangup is that it will be almost impossible to find a manual on a dealer's lot if I wait until my lease runs out on June 1st.

SNAP! Lease term for April went to 48 months and interest dropped to 2.9% from 4.9%. Now I can definitely get that configuration for possibly under $850 tax in a month.

My dealer just called to say he can give me the new rate. It drops my payments by $75 per month, so it is a great little bonus surprise right before delivery!
