F30 328 or 335
I'm kinda torn right now on which one of these two I'm gonna buy. The 328 is more affordable and in my price range, but I just don't know if I can stomach a 4 cyl engine. $10000 is a lot of money so I may not have much choice. I've driven a 335, but I have yet to drive the 328.... I've driven the X1 and its got the same engine. How happy are you 328 owners out there with your purchase.

My wife and i love our 328i sport. To me is what we wanted to pay for a car and the 328 made it happen. I drove the 335i a lot and yes the diff is big in power and sound delivery but I'm not going to be racing anybody and the n20 motor is great and has enough power for what I want .

328i unless you're willing to pay an ~7K premium for sexy exhaust sounds. 😜

I have a 328i as a daily drive.
Every time I put it into the sport mode, I smile every time. My suggestion to you is if you think you're gonna track your car on the regular basis, then get the 335i. If not, you will be happy with the 328i. |

I finally pulled the pin and purchased the 328i. Loaded up with pretty much every option. Slightly used with 11000 km. Saved over 15K over new.

I'm picking the car up at Humberview Motorsports in Toronto in a couple of weeks when the whether improves a bit, and driving back home to Winnipeg. Plans are to make a little vacation out of the whole situation by coming home via the US. Stopping by tire rack in Indiana to pick up some new wheels.

Not that I'm against the 335 because I drive one but the 328xi incentives are too good to pass up. Besides, if the difference in advertised power bothers you, chip it!
1.9% and almost all the discount given up, people are eating up our stock! Happy shopping! |

It's been a while, but now that I'm getting an F30 I'm getting back into it. Funny because not many folks out here do much with their BMW's. No modding, wheels etc...Mostly old timers buy these cars out here. And most of the cars sold are non sport. I bought my last BMW a few years back in Calgary. Much better selection outta province.
