vibration

looking to get a 2012 328i... I've seen a thread on another section about vibration when driving... are the Canadian models have that issue?

Info in other thread should guide you. Vibration/wobble has been evident in all F30 cars, worldwide. Cars with DHP (VSS and Adaptive M) will experience much less or no vibration and ALL F30 cars built after 11/2012 should be OK.

Test drive cars and find out for yourself. Not all F30's are a problem. You may get lucky and find a gem.

i hope so.... cause i have to go out of town to buy this car, id be disappointed to get there test drive, and its vibrating... i'm really surprised BMW would have issue like this... is the vibration like driving a car that isn't balanced?

Ask the dealerships about the vibration adn the seat frame rust and see if they BS you and say they haven't heard of it.

And if they truly haven't heard of either, don't buy there...to me that says they're not really into the product.

seat frame rust?? whats that.

i sched a pre delivery check on the car today, the dealer im buying from will bring it in for me and BMW will get bck to me with the report.

i gave them the vin #, apparently service campaign to program FEM module needs to be done, nothing major they said.

???????? Are you saying a salesperson is openly going to talk about potential issues on a car he/she is trying to sell???????

Programming is hopefully the worst you'll deal with.

Rusty front seat frames on pre Nov 2012 builds has been an issue. Search the forum. Plenty of pics and woes from some owners.

F30, like most other new designs, is not perfect.

is the rusty front seats covered by bmw?

do u guys think i should do Krown rust proofing? for outside of the car
