Audio Update

Just upgrade the standard install of my E90

* HU Pioneer AVH-P5900 DVD
* Focal 165 VR 3 composet
* Audio System Subwoofer X-ION 800BR
* Amplifier Twister F4-600

It's nat a super setup, but is still a lot better of the standard install of BMW. The focal composet plays very clear and also loud. In combination with the subwoofer in the trunk i'm very happy with this improvement.

Nice setup. I presume you lost the multi function buttons on the steering wheel?

For the moment there is no adapter available to use the steering buttons. But they told me it would be available in the near future.

There is one, it's from a company called soundgate, we are waiting for it to arrive and have it installed, not sure if it will work with pioneer since we are using it with a alpine deck

Can you share more info once you have got it and confirm it works? I have changed everything (speakers/amps etc) except for the HU.

What is the black thing under ur subwoofer's box? Did u put this thing to make the box not to move when u accelarate? and what is it called?

It's an OEM rubber mat. I don't have a catalog here, otherwise I would gave you the part number. Another advantage it's helps to hold the subwoofer box on its place.
