Smile Tom Tom and Valetine install

Heres a couple shot of my install on my 2006 330i.....
1. Didn't want the Tomtom stuck on the window. Used dash clip. disassembled the tom tom windshield mount so only a metal rod stuck out. made a same wooden mount and epoxied to dash clip.

2. Valentine out were everyone could see. Visor clip worked like a champ to hold it up in back. and remote display sticky taped under tomtom. cant see it from outside the car. plus its up high for better range. Laser detect not worried about as i have a Laser PP from and rear.

Both hard wired to ignition power.
Note: i need to mount tomtom mic (hands free for phone). Works like a champ. I might have to enlarge and put some rubber in the wooden mount as the tom tom vibrated a little with on bumpy roads.
Also the tom tom is closer so i dont have to reach across the dash to interact with the touch screen.

1. That's a nice idea using the 3rd brake light cover to mount the V-1!

2. How did you get through the firewall to run the wires for the Laser Park Pro? Is there a wire conduit somewhere or did you just drill or cut a hole?

---- there is a cable run that runs engine compartment to drivers side pass compartment. in engine compartment on drivers side next to windshield, Remove the plastic covers you will see the cable running into the passenger compartment.
