New 328xi Questions

Hi,
I just picked up my 328xi with i-drive and I have a few basic questions about some things that I'd like to customize on the car.
1. Is there any way to make the car beep or make a sound when you lock/unlock it?
2. Can you set the car to automatically unlock when turning off the ignition or pulling the key out?
3. Is there a way to make the I-Drive open to a specific screen? Id like it to go straight to one of the map screens.
4. I am not crazy about the "Assistant Window" on the right hand side of the nav screen. Is there a way to compleatly shut that off and strech the map or whatever else you are viewing into that spot.
Thanks for helping me with these "newbie" questions.

Welcome.

1. Yes, but you need the BMW alarm system.
2. No.
3. No, but voice commands and programmable buttons can make it easier.
4. You can make the assitant window go blank, but you won't stretch the screen into that space.

When not actively navigating, I ususally have the map in the assistance window.

Thanks for the help. I am coming out of a 2004 accord and I am just adjusting to some of the changes. The BMW is a major upgrade but the accord had a few nice convienance items.
