Got my Liquid Blue 328i Opti-Coated

Couple of weeks ago, I got Vlad from upperclassdetailing.com to prepare my car and apply Opti-Coat 2.0 and it looks like really worth to try for every new car owners.
Some pics are attached.
Will keep an eye on harsh winter driving condition in Ottawa...

I'm thinking of taking mine to Vlad too. I'm assuming you are satisfied with his work? How long did he keep the car?
Tx

Yes, I'm very happy with his work!
He came to my house and took 3~4 hours for the whole procedure.
But it may take longer depending on condition of your car's painting.

How does it look in the winter? Can you say that you recommend the procedure after you've seen the amount of salt on the paint?

Well, as we have too much salt everywhere in Ottawa winter, my car's bottom half is always covered with whitish powder ^^.
But top half looks very cleaner and shiny~~

And, water beading from rain or snow on top of bonnet is quite amazing to watch.

And have you washed it at all this winter? I am more interested in how the salt affects the opticoat, if it does... We get the same amount of salt in Southern Ontario too, only the amount of snow is different.

I wash my car once a week at petro canada's touchless car wash.
Gets more shine after wash
IIRC, I read claims that ice salt doesn't affect opti-coated surface.
Opti coat helps to repel salt from the car, though I can't prove it, I can just feel it
