Unhappy with LED Angel Eye Replacement Color
I just picked up a set of Angel Eye LED replacements for my 2009 335i w/ stock Xenon setup. They are the Euro EFX LED ANGEL EYES H8 LED 6 WATT BULBS (see http://store.euroeffects.net/64-led-...es-h8-led.html).
The install was pretty painless, and every thing is working fine. The lights look good when the headlights are on, but I noticed something when I turned the headlights off (leaving only the angel eyes on). While the inner halos look great, with the pure white color I was going for, the outer rings have a distinctly blue/purple hue to them: What I want is a uniform white color on both rings. Can anyone recommend a good alternative? I've looked into the 'LUX' H8 which seems to be popular, but apparently they aren't shipping those anymore. Any tips would be appreciated! |

I think these GP Thunder 7500k H8 35W Plasma-White bulbs may be just what I'm looking for until I can find a good LED solution. They appear to have a nice clean white look. Heck of a lot cheaper than I paid for these crap LEDs too. Anyone have any experience with these (http://www.amazon.com/Xenon-7500k-Pl...=pd_sim_auto_1)?
