iPod Charging Issue
I know that many of you folks out there have the same issue as I do with the iPod not always charging correctly while in the car with the 6fL option.
I just heard back from BMW NA with information that there will be a new Y adapter cable available shortly to correct the issue. I was told it will be available THIS month (August). It seems that the iPhone has a similar issue where the Y adapter is not providing enough current to allow a proper charging of the iPod or iPhone. So far they DO NOT HAVE THE FM SWITCHING ISSUE ON THEIR RADAR AS AN ISSUE.

iPod Switching to FM - Latest Info from BMWNA
I just heard back from BMW NA on the iPod charging issue (see other thread) and I was told that they do NOT have the FM SWITCHING ISSUE yet identified as an issue. So I hope no one is expecting a correction any time soon !!
I suggest we ALL take our vehicles in for service and complain about it so it gets documented correctly or else we will NEVER get a fix !!

I've heard the same thing about hte charging issue and the new Y-adaptor. Did the dealer say this is something that would be exchanged at no charge?
