Where to get an ED invoice + $1-1.5k on the east coast?

**name of the dealership and sales person who offered ED + $1k is deleted per their request**

If anyone knows of any other dealers in the east coast that can offer a similar deal, please help a member out! Thanks!

I heard that some of the CA's got in trouble for selling the m5's for cost + commission. Some dealers complained about it so bmwna stepped in. Those CA's can only sell out of dealer allocations. Talk about sour grapes...

That's what happens when people don't stay quiet and use the excuse that another dealer gives this and that when their greedy dealers don't give a good price. Best thing is just to keep quiet and leave the greedy dealer for the better one. This kinda reminds you of the current administration in the White House who can't keep quiet bragging about the terrorist strikes but then leaks details to the media, Hollywood and just about everybody! People when you get a good deal, just stay quiet and don't go telling your greedy dealer that you got a better deal from this person just say you got a better deal with no details and that's it!

I think it was our own fault, it was public info or left in the open by quite a few members. Just didn't see such a thing coming. I posted it a few times myself.... You live and you learn.

Agreed.
I understand the reasoning behind excluding based on post count/membership length, but unfortunately that would have left new legitimate members in the cold (like me). Remember that you do have others who may be coming from other car brands, new to the BMW brand, and a bit skittish on plopping down 100k.

I guess that new members suffer the consequence due to people not being discreet about good deals. It is up to other members who have gotten good deals to share the info -- it is also up to their discretion to ensure they are emailing to legitimate new members looking for a good deal rather than a CA "mole" out to find where people are getting any good deal to try and sabotage them. Again for those who will share the info be very cautious and for those receiving the info, it is time to keep mum and not brag about it to the whole world!

I would suggest sharing info by spoken word, not in writing. you can only prove something that's in writing. So any members that want the info, put your number up in the thread and someone will contact you.

Personally I think it's really crappy that honest dealers/CA's are taking heat for practicing good business. Particularly when there were(at least a few weeks ago) dozens of dealers who either had no information, misinformation or simply misled prospective buyers in an effort to not only make more money by charging MSRP but even in some instances charging over and above that.
IMO its those dealers and CA's who should be taking heat from BMW not the honest ones.

Bmw should open an online portal where anyone can order a ED spec car right from the factory in stead of jumping through hoops with all these shady dealers. It's not our fault half of them are uneducated on new products and the other half are greedy slime balls. SMH.

+1 to both Chudak' & X5' comments.

The BMW dealer network experience is slowly (but effectively) turning me off from buying what I believe to be a great product (M5)and service (ED delivery). I fear that eventually the product potential ( in my mind) will not overcome the stress/hassle of it all.

While it can be said that dealing with dealership is always this way, that has not been my experience with other manufacturers.
