oDD NOISE COMING FROM UNDER THE CAR.

Hi everyone. i need some urgent help with an issue i have been having with my 2006 325i. im getting a really bad screeching noise from under the car. Its really hard to describe. It only happens when the car is fully hot. When I come to a stop or park after a long drive (fully hot) and Rev the car slightly it starts when the idle settles down. I'm really paranoid. I have no warranty and just worry its something in the engine or tranny. I have two videos of the noise. I checked all bolts under the car and all heat shields to no avail.

lol at least you answered bro have not gotten any help with this on the forum at all. I feel like driving the car into a wall.

Its funny a friend of mines has a 550i and has the exact noise, but did not know what it is. We ended up pulled out the Vanos top and bottom and replacing them with new ones, after that the noise went away. Have you changed the belt yet, it could be a bad tensioner as well. It is also hard to hear the noise from your video, can you hear it from the engine bay?

No i cannot hear it from my engine under the car only. tensioner, idle pulley, belt, and both vanos solanoids were changed last month.

Dumb question, have you checked the muffler flap?

Have someone rev your car, stand behind it, I bet the flap in the muffler is causing that rattle. I know you said it sounds like its coming from the engine, but sometimes these noises can be deceiving.
