front bumper protection

Saw this at the local speed shop when I went to pick up some POR-15 & spark plugs. Interesting concept, and not bad looking. Applies only to those who run front plates to avoid the hassle with the local LEO's, like me. Undecided as to if I am going to pick one up or not.

Opinions?

Lol those rubber bumpers are for kids.
I got two of these for GF's Mazda 3. Her bumpers are pristine a year later. And she parks in Brooklyn every day

The rubber padding is long gone, metal is scratched to hell and lots of cars in the area where she works now have slits in bumpers

yeah but then i worry that someone will damage their car with something like this and get pissed off and key me. that thing does protrude quite a bit and probably is hard to see at night.
