UK Michelin PSS - best prices

Seems like a good few of us are needing new rear tyres and PSS seems to be the way forward. What prices are you being offered and where from?

The best I've seen online so far (without ringing around) is about £310 delivered for the 265 35 19 98Y size from Pneus Online

I'm sure we could do better than that though

No problem - I haven't used them before but it seems good.

Can you run PSS tyres on the rear whilst keeping the PS2s up front?

I wasn't sure what effect it would have on the handing?

Hi Chris
I've been running the PSS'S on the rears for about 1k now and I can say that they do ride and grip better than the PS2's but the car does seem a little less direct turning into corners and not quite as stable at high speed. Not sure if this because of the different compound characteristics between front and rear. Perhaps it maybe better once I change the fronts out!

Can't comment on turn in too much but I can easily say that the car is way more stable including high speed (up to 270 km/h indicated) with PSS all around than with the stock PS2s in my case. There is reported turn in loss from some members here but a fraction of it probably cause I never noticed anything about that in city/highway and back road driving either, no tracking yet. If you have chance, I advise swapping a full set and you can keep the PS2s as a reserve front set or just sell them in second hand market. My 2c.
