"Guidance not available" error
Hi all,
Just got my new 335i E92 with iDrive and Professional Nav, and have tried everything to get the navigation working. I always end up with this message when I select "Start guidance". I have tried re-inserting the Nav DVD, and even tried another one at the dealer. The dealer reckons you just leave it sit for 10mins and it should work after that.....it doesn't. Any ideas?

Could be your TCU is having a problem. Do you have BMW Assist? If so, press the button and ask the operator to verify your position. If they cannot, then take it in for service. They might have to replace the TCU.

Well it's all working...seems the calibration had screwed up. They just recalibrated it and it works fine.
I'll keep an eye on it though, the dealer was pretty surprised the calibration was lost....
