Valentine one $404.00

Guys,
Heads up V1 is offering the radar + concealed display +shipping for $404.00
The units were returned under the 30 day policy. You get the same warranty.
They claimed they have none in stock but when you place the order you get it in a few days.

You have to call it in.

Call Valentine Research at 1 800 331 3030 and ask for a returned V1 and you will get 10% off the retail price of $399. It will be the latest version V1.8 POP2 w/ Euro-mode and 3.861 firmware and that comes with all the accessories and a 1 year warranty.

I also bought a supposedly refurbished Valentine One, but it turned out to be a brand new unit.

It was a phone order and I was told that they have no refurbished units, so I asked to be put on the waiting list. They shipped a brand new one the following day so I saved 10% off retail on a brand new unit.

You won't save money and the V1 could be stolen.

Just buy a returned V1 from Valentine Research and it will come with a 1 year warranty.

If I was Mike Valentine I wouldn't be on this forum talking to you guys, I would be out driving around in my Porsche counting my money.

Wow... that's sadder. You actually spend this much time hawking V1s on every car forum on the stinking Internet, and you aren't Mike Valentine?

Maybe you're in charge of getting rid of Valentine Research's returns...

I probably would have considered buying a V1 before I starting seeing your posts on G35Driver, BfC, etc., etc.

off topic, but I had the 8500 for a few years, had a friend that offered to buy it off me for a good price, and figured I would give the V1 a try this time around. Bought direct from V1 (had to pay sales tax because I'm in OH as well) and got the concealed display. Overall I like it, but the false alarms are really starting to drive me nuts, I have it on L mode and it falses SO much more than the passport. Really can't say it's worth the extra money, although the arrows are kind of nice.
