i ordered my car today here in miami, fl from south motors bmw... but my CA said he could not give me a production number... in fact he told me it might take awhile. He did say i would get the car at the end of july or begining of august. Does this make any sense??? I've also been reading on the site that they are stopping production or something like that?? I just want my damn car LOL!

it makes perfect sense. When you order a car it doesnt mean you will get a prod. number right away. It could take a day, a week, few weeks or even a month (maybe a little bit more).

If I were you I would keep pressing him for the Production ASAP and make sure you'll get the car in the time frame promised.

i ordered on the 4/26 and didnt get one either...they said i will most likely be in on the next allocation which is July production. Hope to have a production # by the end of this month

my CA ran out of the dealership when i left... handing me a paper with the production #.

if the dealer has a slot assignment... they can give it to you the same day... otherwise you'll need to wait till they have a slot open

i don't know about other markets but here in miami i had ca's laugh when i would try to negotiate the msrp.... lol i don't know if thats happen to anyone else.
