Car Accident

not to me, but my cousin & his wife & dog in his 335xi earlier tonight. fortunately, they all are safe, no serious injuries that i know of right now. i'm not trying to get attention & he doesnt know i'm writing this but without him i wouldnt have even dreamed about owning my own BMW or be on these forums.

long story short the accident occurred in Astoria Queens around 8pm where a pickup maneuvered around another car that was stopping at a light, ran the red light and hit my cousin dead on (picture below). after initial impact his car spun then stopped, meanwhile the pickup never even braked and raced off. that's the part that really pissed me off when i first heard. i hope the bastard gets what he deserves

Damn with that much front end damage, Im surprised the pickups plate wasn't left at the scene. Even more surprised it was even able to drive off. Glad your family is doing ok.

Sorry to hear about their accident. Glad your family is safe but in all honesty, since dogs cant speak make sure they take it in for a check up. My wife is a Cert. Vet tech and it is very common they have internal damages from accidents and since they cant tell you if they are in pain it can be a bad situation.

If you/they need any assistance with the vehicle or claim give us a shout!

Damn, sorry to hear that man. I can't stand that kind of shit either but as some of the guys said, what goes around comes around so that SOB will get his. As long as everyone is okay, that's the most important thing.

The reason your airbags didnt deploy was because its above the frame rails car absorbed the force
