Speaker Crackling

I recently purchased a 2006 330I with 25k on it and noticed when I go to turn up the volume that the dash speaker crackles. I have seen that the OEM speakers are not the best quality and was wondering if this is covered by warranty or if it's something I can change myself? I got rid of a Y2K Vette for this and absolutely love the car other than that. :rocks:
