I am wondering if anyone who has I-Drive Navigation and has sync'd their bluetooth cellphone if the phone contacts (addresses) are available from the navigation menu without having to enter them seperately?

Once your phone is paired the "A-Z" option in the 2nd menu from the top (scroll left) gives you the list of contacts from your phone. It is automatically downloaded into the comp and shown on the screen. You can then select any contact and see the number or info - call, etc.

No need to enter them yourself.

I´m not sure what you mean since you mention synching addresses.

Phone numbers and names move automatically as long as your mobile is compatible.

You can´t enter them separately however. They either are there or are not.

This is why it is important to have a fully compatible mobile phone.

He's asking if the addresses that are part of the contact info are usable for navigation on the car. AFAIK, no, you have to enter the address manually.

My phone syncs, but not the address book. According to Verizon, there are some phones that will "push" stuff to the car and some phones (like mine) that don't. He said that most of the LG and Motorola ones do.

Thanks rocketman... I was asking if the sync'd phone book contacts would be useable as navigation addresses. I was hopeing they would as my phone has all my address information I need as well, and it would be nice to not have to enter them manually.

Since it can't do that, I hope that we get the capability to send from Google Maps, like they can in Germany....
