e90 radio head unit questions

i asked i nthe audi section but no replies so i thought id try it here.

so since the head unit is very long and you can controll a lot on the car off of i i have a question.

i want an after market deck since i am getting some subs.

is it possible for me to put in an aftermarket deck? any pictures?
