1M Alpine White with Gunmetal Wheels

Hi guys,

I am about to take delivery of my 1M and wanted to see if anyone had any pictures or Photoshops of an alpine white 1M with gunmetal gray wheels. The color I am referring to would be similar to the '01-03 M5.

I would imagine the wheels looking something similar to this:

Thanks for any feedback!

There was a recent thread showing an AW 1M and 18" E9x M3 anthracite wheels. I'll try finding the link later today. I think AW + gunmetal/anthracite is perfect.

No problem man, I like your thinking on the gunmetal look although I wasen't overly crazy with the 18" M3 wheels, but I know that Sal had them laying around, plus he tracks his car so it made sense for him. I would think that powder coating the stock wheels would look awesome but I don't want to affect the whole originality thing in the event I decide to sell my car.

The Wheel & Tire section of the 1 series board is full of wheel pics threads, with AW cars and various shades of gray / anthracite / gun metal wheels.

Thanks for the links for the wheels. I am really close to taking the plunge and having my wheels powder coated gunmetal gray on my AW 1M. I wish someone could photoshop what that would look like!

let us know who you use. I would like have my OEM done in black at some point but dont know if i am going with PC or paint. My SA said they have a wheel guy at Classic that will paint them for a good price. And there is a sponsor on the local MINI board who does PC and offers member a disc.
