DP's Are IN!!!!!!!

First off.........DAMN THAT WAS A BITCH!!!!!!!!!

ok......overall the most bitchy part of the install were the top O2 sensors getting them in and the clamps for the DP's. Overall great sound but I gotta get a better position for the camera because to me it doesn't sound as loud as the video shows it. Overall.....................TRULY SATISFIED

anyways...this was just n55 midpipes and the BT Street perf. exhaust

Let me know what you think. I should be able to see all of you who come to the meet next sunday.

Sounds really good Nick. I like the throaty kick back sound you get when you shift. Sounds like it was worth the effort you had to put into it. How's he seat of the pants Dyno?

The B&B dyno (Butt & Back) definetly feel the difference. Now that she has more breathing capability she can go higher in the gears and really get going

I already had the flash done last Weds. My butt dyno is very happy! I think you will still be able to kill me. But I am curious as to how close we will be. I will post my whole story on the flash tune tomorrow.

It meets the 95 Db requirement based on the USAREUR testing. If not, I would have never done it

Yep... but the 95db is not everything to get it StreetLegal (at least for a "normal" German).

Iam trying right now to get my Spacers legal... the Problem is, i got no Papers from the Manufacturer for the E87 (just all other BMW´s)... i try to get some Papers from H&R (same size)... Fact --> not easy

i drive a Year with those Spacers mounted... no rubbing, nothing... just good looking...

I understand. I have seen how stringent TUV testing is and thank GOD we don't have to go through this. Alot of USAREUR vehicles would be out of plates if they had to go through TUV.

I wonder what the law really is concerning us? I think I need to ask some MP's I know. We do have/go thru USAREUR registration but we do indeed have German tags on our cars. I think this means we must also comply with German (car) laws.

So what would happen IF we were to get stopped by the Polizei in one of those tuning sweeps. ?

A few weeks ago... one member here... (not me, but someone I know, a German 1addict) was stopped at the Nurnberg Street Culture car show. He had 19" wheels, he was lowered, spacers, and some other bits. The Polizei impounded his car because he had no TUV papers nor anything written in his car's registration papers. It ended up costing him A LOT!

So... I wonder what would happen, IF an American was stopped in one of the tuning round ups? The German Polizei had atleast fourty cops at the Esso infront of XXXL in Nurnberg that night. They had a drive0on lift and were really checking out these cars! No Joke.

I think this is also why we can not have "spinners" or front tinted wondows on USAREUR reg cars with German tags.

I Got stopped at a check point quickly rolled down both windows front is 10% lol . First thing he asked was did my head lights come with the car. I played dumb don't all cars come with headlights. but of course they didn't there HIDS in the angels eyes and they are fing bright. So he figured out i wasn't German and just sent me on my way. I don't think they even care to deal with USAREUR plated cars

I've been in two of these with my 325 and it's sweet (albeit loud ass exhaust) once they saw I was an Ami they looked over my reg and sent me on my way....

A mobile lift huh? I need one of those things....
