VW with the kit looks meaner than the Q7. The VW is almost ML63 AMG'esque.

Why SUV? X5 is really nice, but you should get the 4.8 which is really expensive lol

If this is going to be your daily driver, get anything besides an SUV!

To answer your question, I prefer the Audi.

When I replace my 3er with a new car, as it's my daily driver, it'll either be another 3er or a 1er, unless BMW have come out with something different that is better suited to it or if BMW no longer produce the best driving standard sort of car.

(Note: I buy my cars and keep them until they no longer serve their purpose without a lot of repairs being needed, or until/if I have an accident with them. I've never had an accident.)

Definitely the X5. But I also agree against the X5 as a DD. I've driven a truck and an SUV as a DD before - sedan/coupe is easier.

Jacky, which model X5 are you looking at?

That VW does look cool. If I was stuck between the two, I'd say test drive time.

Porsche cayenne. The x5 is great, but there is no substitute for a Porsche.

if you purely worry about potential engine problem, just keep your ride. with no meth, n2o, turbo upgrade, i doube you will come across engine failure anytime. just do proper maintenance and you should be good. i assume you didn't even hit over 18 psi of boost or going 150+ mph for long period of time.

i would go have dealer check up on tranny pan seal which is known to have some leaking issue. other than that, just do engine oil, coolant fluids, brake fluids and spark plugs should be good enough or if you are super meticulous, you can do diff fluids and tranny fluids. have dealer to get your hpfp checked up which they will cover long after 50k warranty expires and they will also performs compression checks and etc for you.

if you have other reason, such as getting board, then oh well, you do what you gotta do
q7 is soon to get face-lift i bet. i would personally give ML or X5 a try...
