Feedback on my alignment
Hey guys, did my alignment today. The car is completely stock and I plan on tracking it 4-5 times a year. Does this look good for a good street/track setup. Thx
Camber: 1.3 Front 1.5 Rear Toe: 0 front .12 rear

i have my pins pulled, 1.6/1.7 is pretty much the max for the front.

Last year I ran a smidge of toe all around. This year I took it out and am running zero. One thing to remember about toe is that it helps the car feel more stable in a straight line at speed. I've noticed more... wandering at 120+ mph than last year. Running no toe does help with turn-in though. So that's a trade-off you should be aware of.

Looks good to me. Slightly more camber up front than at the rear is what gets a rather neutral car given the stock tire sizes (if you go square with this alignment, it will likely oversteer).
You will still have outsides of front tires wear out quicker though. You can minimize this with 1) tire rotation; 2) driving technique - instead of trying to carry a lot of speed into a corner, go in slower and then power out unwinding steering - this will cause power oversteer educing cornering wear of front tires (less moving front inside more moving rear outside) |
