LUX 5.0 battery drain

I had some problems recently with engine starts if I leave my car for a few days. Took it in to Seattle to have the battery checked. They said that my LUX is constantly sucking power out of the battery and it is draining it faster than normal. I has been sitting at 60% capacity over the last few days. Has anyone else experienced this problem before? I don't understand how or why the LUX would be draining the battery when everything is turned off.

This is very interesting to hear. I'm not quite sure how this would be possible because the LUX E90 is simply a bulb replacement. If the LUX was draining power then they would also be emitting light because the power needs to go somewhere. the LUX does not change any of the wiring or function of the car.

Please keep me updated on this, and also let me know how the dealer "determined" the LUX is the cause

I agree. It makes no sense at all. I think they just wanted to blame problems of the battery on aftermarket parts so they wouldn't have to warranty it.

you can also put the stock bulbs back in place and bring it to them with the same issue, this way they will be forced to fix the issue.

Thanks for PM'ing me by the way

So with this said, is there truly a difference between your bulbs and the others? (MTEC, Rdash, etc) Don't get me wrong, I love my Lux 5.1's, but i'm starting to wonder since no matter what you do the electrical output of the Angel eyes is going to be the same.
