Hey guys I was home this past weekend for my birthday and had time to do a full detail of my car....wash, clay, polish, seal, and wax.

Used Merzerna polishes, mother's clay bar, griot's paint sealant, and meguir's quick detailer. I forget the wax I used but I got it from detailedimage.com.

I also had time to seal the paint on my father's new '11 XJ. One of the coolest things that stood out to me about the new XJ was the valet mode and speed limiter. You can set a speed limit the car cannot exceed for when you valet your car. This is an awesome feature I would like to see integrated into all future vehicles.

Anyway onto the pictures. I just snapped a few quick ones with my point and shoot. Sorry for the mess. I was too lazy to clean up.

Funny that the 330 is AWD...and the XJ is RWD XJ is coming out with AWD soon though

they look great, the range is nice too.

The roof is vinyled. It's 3M CF Di-NOC.....not gloss. But they do make a gloss version now.

the front of the XJ is gorgeous, the rear will definitely take some getting use to. Also, what'd you do to your headlights on your E90? Looks good.

The XJ looks like the designers were on a tight deadline and at the last moment before handing in nothing - got absolutely fried on a mixture of crack and liquor - threw the final draft together - tucked the design into a crisp clean folder when one of the guys couldn't hold it in anymore and puked up all over it....the papers soaked, warped and smeared to a barely recognizable automobile...was given to their superior the next morning...

Did I mention, the XJ looks like dawg sh*t....sorry just had to be completley honest...

I definitely agree. I don't think the back is nearly as appealing as the front.

I have my headlights tinted with "light" smoke tint and have 3M CF Di-NOC covering the amber reflectors.

He's old school.....we had an XJ8 back when Jaguar was British owned. He told me the dealer asked if he wanted the Jaguar or the flat roundel. I guess the look stuck with him.
