Going to complete my "look" on Thursday. PAINTED gloss black roof and debadge..

Need opinions on this last step to complete my exterior mods for all time guys!It was a long and very cool trip, and to say it's finally completed is a big thing for me

When it gets painted:

A) does the roof spoiler go black too or stay grey (I am on the fence- trunk spoiler's grey...eh....)
B) Do the little thin plastic rails along either side of the roof get painted? Or, do they stay grey too?

Maybe at some point bro, I consider that an engine mod, not an exterior mod so I have an excuse to keep it in my mind haha

I think it would look cleaner getting rid of the roof spoiler completely. The plastic rails should be painted too, in my opinion.

Thanks for everyone's input so far. Well, I'd have to paint the spoiler later on as it is urethane glued on, a decision that I had a faint feeling I may regret later on. So the rails gloss black is a given now. Now I gotta contemplate if the roof spoiler, well, spoils the whole look. I was thinking it would make the whole setup too busy but figured WTH at the time...Ahh decisions decisions....I know leaving it alone is an option too, but I've seen the gloss black on another car and with my gloss black front grills and now gloss black diffuser I think the car would honestly pop that much more. The quads are out of the question I think- for one I don't need to pig an already heavy 328xi down with more pipe weight and two I'm not changing bumpers again!

since you have the trunk spoiler grey i believe the roof spoiler should stay gray too. if not you should paint both or lose the roof one.

the rails should definitely get painted together with the roof.

Iceburg- it's easier to detail the car and it's just a cleaner look, that is my reason. I know others do it for other reasons, but that is mine.

OK, tomorrow's the day my brothers. I am opting to take it off! The roof spoiler that is. I am understanding it will be sacrified in the process, but hey, shit happens, and the blend and transition to the black dot matrix of the back window will be much better. Off it comes.
