BMW F30 335 M-sport timing?
Hi all,
Im new here and i think this forum is realy good for bimmer discussion. I am now driving a VW Golf V but i am planing to buy the new F30. I fell in love with bmw straight six engine when i test drived the bmw 325 LCI. I dont like bmw without M-sport package, therefore i am wondering how long time it takes for the m-sport package to be released? How long time did it take for the new F10 5 series or the current E90? If understand it right, the new F30 will maybe released next year in summer in europe. |

I too am wondering this because I am in desperate need for a car and do not know how much longer I can hold out. I really like the M-sport wheel a lot better and thus want that on my my f30 335i instead of just the regular wheel.

The X3 JUST got the M-Sport package and was released back in December...I'm guessing the wait will be 3-6 months after initial release

M-Sport should arrive 6 months after introduction. So Sept 2012 I think.

Just so you are aware, the naturally aspirated inline six in the 325i won't be offered in the F30 3 series. So, I hope you don't mind that I6 with a turbo. And if you want a more affordable model it is going to come with an I4 turbo.

I know that, and I dont think the sound will be as good as the I6 but the performance numbers of the new engine are interesting. Maybe it will be fun to drive, who knows .

I really hope so as I am kind of force into buying a F30 at launch if I want to do ED during the summer. If I have to, I will get the sport package, but really want a MSport instead.

The BMW plan is, normally, for a later initlal US launch than Europe by which time M-Sport becomes available. Expect March in Europe, then September for US and also M-Sport and Touring.
