You can check out the coding section of this forum for all the info. I finally got my computer set up with the programs and have done the digital speed in cluster code so far. I plan on converting my halogens to xenons this spring. Don't be intimidated with the prospect of coding yourself. If you follow the directions on that coding section in the forum, you will be fine.
As you have an early e90 (pre 03/07 build), you can use the cheap K-line cable (example http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-S...motiveQ5fTools), about $30 off ebay. Hardest part is setting up your computer, but if you have xp or w7 32 (not 64 bit it, NCS won't run on it easily) the set up is pretty straight forward. Next weekend I plan on coding in sirius for my car (bought a sirius module on ebay) and will do my xenon lights in a few weeks. Lastly, the INPA proram is also a great diagnostic program to read all sorts of errors (if any) off your car, see actual values, etc. |
