nice, same here. i'd like coupe but I think its time I get a sedan, so since i'm getting a sedan I might as well get a little brighter color like silver. I love the silver 5 series and z4s, the colors really shine nicely on the body and itll be the same with the 3 series. I cant wait for the 330i to come to the dealer for a testdrive. better be good

Dave,
I'm sure it will be. I've got test drive in 325i in a couple of weeks. Oh yeah I absolutely love the new 5 series styling and in Silver too. I must be one of the few that likes Chris Bangle's designs. On the other forums everyone has been bashing the E90 on its looks. I think the E90 is just as beautiful as the 5 series. People say the E90 is a smaller version of the 5 series, which is a good thing |

Yeah I'm in the UK. It's already on sale here, but due to a huge back order I don't think I will see them on the roads until about early April.
Yeah I'll post the details of my test drive as soon as I have driven it. I have never driven a BMW (rear wheel drive) car before, so not sure what to expect. but from the current reviews I'm expecting it to be an excellent drive. Are you guys going for Automatic transmission? Most cars are auto in USA and Canada aren't they? |

My first E46 was titanium silver and that was one of my favorite colors, it looks just like that in person. It can be a pure silver, but when the light isnt shining directly at it (like at sunset) then a more purplish tint comes out. I think of robocop's metal when I think of this color It has the same silver/purple combo as the metal man himself. Its a sick ass color. Heres a pic of my old E46 to show you what the color can look like sometimes |

Here's another 325i but this time in Arctic Metallic. Not sure about this colour because it's a combination of sliver, blue and even green. In the flesh it looked unimpressive. It doesn't look too bad in the photo though. I'd prefer something along the lines of silver grey rather than a bluey silver or crystal blue... |

Ah, you're luck you're in the UK and getting it before it comes stateside. We don't have too much longer to wait though. But we'll have to settle for pics you guys get to post before us and reviews of the actual experience.

I cant wait for the testdrive details, and to go on one myself (hopefully very soon here in the us). BMWs are all about FUN so make sure you really testDRIVE it scare the salesman a little bit. And it is true that most americans buy automatic transmissions but I think most people on these internet forums are car nuts so we all get manual transmissions. Us online people are a really small part of the american population. Who knows if SMG takes off then we'll all be driving with that (i hope not, i love manual !!!) |

In the UK prices are sky high than the rest of the world (I believe) Example, a 325i with no options on the road price is approx 48,056.59 USD...Come on tell me that's a rip off!! UK car prices have always been higher than elsewhere. |

But you're saving all that money, so you're the winner in the end, even though it may take a little longer for you to get it. It's a case of good things come to those that wait.

I love the new 5 (E60) also. Did you see the M5 in the photo gallery!? My god that thing is a beast. After reading all the magazine reviews on the E90 this month, I feel I've already test driven the car I want to hear real world reviews of the car tho. Post up your impressions when you get to finally drive one. |

I will do...The dealer rang me yesterday to say that they have a 330i automatic for me to test. They are just in the process of preparing it ready to be a demonstrator car.
