Took delivery on Monday night, and I am THRILLED

Member BK couldnt have said it any better: "The king is dead. Long live GreenThree, Godspeed BlackThree!"

(Green e90 was turned in). Plus we have 15 inches of snow in Boston today so I got it in the nick of time!

Major differences from my 2008: Updated front and rear, hood, side mirrors, etc. I really like the LED turn signals in front and back - also the OEM tail lights look much better IMO - so those are nice upgrades. JB is an awesome color, and the saddle brown on the inside is an excellent contrast.

I opted for the ZPP this time around instead of the ZSP. (OK I miss the sport seats.) However the auto dimming mirror feature, bluetooth and lumbar are welcome additions and work perfectly.

Noticed a difference in the way the car rides: The suspension is not jarring over bumps like my last one with ZSP, but rather buttery smooth while still communicating excellent feedback to the driver. So the ride is VERY comfortable while still maintaing nice handling.

As we all know, e9x's LOVE to be driven. This one is no exception. The 6MT shifts perfectly, and I am already used to the clutch. This tranny is a blast!

There is a night and day difference between the Harman Kardon stereo and base system. Really happy I checked that box. The heated dterring wheel is perfect for cold days like this one.

but ummmm all you miss is the 'sport seats'? I know it's subjective, and no offense here, but don't try to justify regular suspension over sports suspension silly........

Its dark burl walnut. Looks alot darker than it is in that pic. Looks nice with the black dash IMO

Thanks. Yes, thats what I miss most about the sports package. I can live without the thicker steering wheel. The e90 has standard 17" wheels this year which is part of the ZVP. In 2008 16" wheels were standard which is part of the reason I did the ZSP in 2008. I dont care for the ZSP wheels on the 2011 e90. Its an x-drive, so I dont believe it gets a sports tuned suspension with the ZSP like the i does. However I do notice a significant difference in ride comfort in this car without the ZSP.

Honestly I had to forgo ZSP and some other options because we have some other financial priorities coming up on the horizon. I feel happy to be driving a 3 series though

Nice. Similar to my week old 328i xDrive. Jet Black with Beige. Got the Automatic though, wife has to be able to drive it, but I did get a Sport package, so I have paddle shifters to play with and really like the seats and steering wheel. First one with Comfort Access too, which is pretty sweet.

Sucky weather up this way, to be sure, got almost 20" of snow up my way...
