The old gal in snow. pics.
Here is why I should have snow tires, and shouldn't lower the car.

When I made the decision to skip out on a set of Blizzaks this go around, I put all seasons on it. I don't really NEED to go out when the weather is bad, so I'll take the chance.
The tires are Yokohama all seasons, Avid Envigor. Not bad on the snowpack, but not great in the loose and icy slushy stuff where the Blizzaks excelled. I do like them in the dry though. Pretty grippy on asphalt for an all season with high treadwear. I like the stiff walls too. They kept some of that razor sharp feel of the RFT's with these nonRFT's. The car is clean in the pics because it just came from the garage where it was washed. Won't stay that clean very long! http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....r=Base%20Model

I'd still drop it though a couple days of snow a year arent worth 4x4 status plus being a snowplow is kinda fun

You know, snow is clean. It's all that crap they throw on top of it to make it go away that gets the cars dirty. Sometimes I wish they would just leave it packed down and groomed like a ski run. We might be getting another foot of snow in a day or two, to add to the two feet we already got.
