Just Installed My CAI and Some Extra Photos

I installed my aFe Stage II Cold Air Intake and the aFe Air Scoops and it was a journey. Took be about 3 hours because it was my first time working under the hood and the directions were not very clear (basically tiny writing with no description and black and white photos with no detail), so I had to figure it out for myself. All in all everything functions well and the car sounds amazing. Very happy with this intake and I can definitely say that I feel the extra power behind the wheel compared to my stock intake. Now enough talk, on to the photos. Enjoy and let me know what you thing (positive or negative), I am open to criticism and looking for some advice on future mods. Thanks!

LoL Thanks & congratulations also enjoy the instructions they are crap. PM me if you need some help or are having trouble with something I now know how to put it together and take it apart easily.

Alright sounds good just make sure you have a friend to help you out because it will make things a lot easier.

Luckily I have my bud helping me out, he has done his car (non bmw) and his friends s2000. So I should be ok

3. Hours?? Lol wow .. I could pull a motor out of a car faster then that !! Haha , enjoy your cai ... Yiu should of just stayed with a drop in filter as those intakes are garbage ..

^+1 you're really just paying for sound and an a slight improvement in throttle response which is often mistaken as a power gain

Nice installed pictures. The AFE looks like a compliment when you open the hood. Enjoy it!

Yea, tell me about it, but like I said it was my first time working under the hood if I did it again it would take me about 20 min. Thought about that, but hey I am happy so who cares =]

I was only looking for sound and a slight improvement in throttle response, but trust be I feel an HP and Torque gain, not a lot but good enough for me...

i have the same intake installed it in 30 min and it does feel a gain in power and torque also the sound is nicer.
