Blue Water Metallic (Wash/Clay/Polish/Seal/Wax)
This was my first real exterior detail attempt. I decided to experiment on my sisters 09 328i. The paint was in very bad shape to start with so it's still not perfect. The car has lots of scratches (light and deep + keyed in a couple spots).

I used all Griots products. I am a noobie to detailing and it was just easier for me to order a big kit.

I'd say you did an excellent job. I'm sure your sister was very happy with you!
Next step is to purchase a FLEX random orbital so you can do paint correction as needed for swirls and stains. Good work!

Wait are you suppose to wax after you use a sealant?
I thought you use either or? And sealants just last longer? Ohh and great job on the detail looks clean! |
