FS H&R Touring Cupkit (think H&R sport springs w/ shocks)

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
SOLD

These give the same drop as the H&R sport springs except they're matched with H&R's struts.

RIDE
The ride on these are fantastic. In comparison to OEM suspension, the car feels more planted to the ground, but not too stiff to make for an annoying daily driven car. I drive my grandparents around from time to time and they've complimented the smooth ride. (just to give you an idea). My mom drives the car and doesn't have any problems scraping the front splitters on driveways or speed bumps.

REASON
If you're going to install H&R sport springs, you might as well save the trouble and money of replacing the shocks later on down the road installing them all at once.

PRICE
They were on my car for ~8000 miles and they have a lifetime warranty through the manufacturer.

$520 shipped (if it helps, consider this as buying a set of struts and getting a free set of lowering springs).

PICS
I know too many words...more pictures

local transactions take precedence

Also, will this kit fit on e92?

Thanks in advance, and btw your ride is nice

Good deal.

Not calling you out, But I DO NOT think the lifetime warranty is transferable to new owner. Regardless HR has a great reputation for being reliable, comfortable and well built.

GL. with sale.

Yes. I own the same kit on my e92, everything bolts up perfectly fine. I'm also in the process of swapping out my sport springs in favor of the race springs. Since the Touring and Sport Cup Kit use the same shocks, it will work out just fine. (That last part was just an FYI).

Great kit and love it! GLWS!

Thanks for the input. I've had a couple coupe guys ask me about fitting them from a sedan. Saved me lots of time having to research!

Great kit!

Finally got a chance to take pics of the suspension. Cosmetically, they're in great shape. Functionality wise, they've just passed the break in period.

The little piece on the strut isn't cracked. its just the paint.

Can you confirm that the lifetime warranty does transfer to the new owner? That is a great drop.

The rep from H&R explained to me the suspension components shall be covered as long as they were properly installed and not modified. They also reassured me the shocks are built to last beyond 100k miles.
