FS H&R Touring Cupkit (think H&R sport springs w/ shocks)
SOLD These give the same drop as the H&R sport springs except they're matched with H&R's struts. RIDE The ride on these are fantastic. In comparison to OEM suspension, the car feels more planted to the ground, but not too stiff to make for an annoying daily driven car. I drive my grandparents around from time to time and they've complimented the smooth ride. (just to give you an idea). My mom drives the car and doesn't have any problems scraping the front splitters on driveways or speed bumps. REASON If you're going to install H&R sport springs, you might as well save the trouble and money of replacing the shocks later on down the road installing them all at once. PRICE They were on my car for ~8000 miles and they have a lifetime warranty through the manufacturer. $520 shipped (if it helps, consider this as buying a set of struts and getting a free set of lowering springs). PICS I know too many words...more pictures local transactions take precedence Last edited by mister wiggles; 12-26-2010 at 01:48 PM.. |

Good deal.
Not calling you out, But I DO NOT think the lifetime warranty is transferable to new owner. Regardless HR has a great reputation for being reliable, comfortable and well built. GL. with sale. |

Finally got a chance to take pics of the suspension. Cosmetically, they're in great shape. Functionality wise, they've just passed the break in period.
The little piece on the strut isn't cracked. its just the paint. |

The rep from H&R explained to me the suspension components shall be covered as long as they were properly installed and not modified. They also reassured me the shocks are built to last beyond 100k miles.
