IMO thats a very good offer for such a watch. Especially in todays economic climate. I buy and sell watches too

What are you smoking?? That is a high price for such a watch! I too buy and sell watches and would not pay anything more than half the original value for a Gucci watch, if that!! I bought my wife a mint condition, slightly used, Gucci Twirl watch with diamond bezel for $725 back when we were dating. The watch was 6 months old and had a $2000 retail plus tax.

It's a Gucci, not a Panny, AP, Rolex, Breit, or Omega! Gucci watches are overpriced fashion watches with base ETA movements to pass it off as a high end watch. The same ETA movement can be found in sub thousand dollar watches with finishes that will rival that of the Gucci. Ever heard of Steinhart??

OP, while your watch is nice, your price needs to come down by at least half, if not more. I'd consider taking the $1150 offered and run!

as my dad always told me:

"A watch is one of the most expensive accessories/jeweleries you can buy; but it'll be worthless the second you take it out and wear it"

I'll give you a couple hundred mainly cause I want another watch..but in no way need one

Am I the only one reading this thread who thinks this watch is absolutely disgusting? $4000 or $4. wouldnt make a difference. Fellas, save your money just a little longer and get a real timepiece. This is a cracker jack box watch made to appeal to those who are captured by a name and a little bling. It's garbage. I have a Casio G-Shock that is more appealing than this gross excuse for a watch. Im baffled by the interest in this thing even at a few hundred.

Well, I guess our definition of worthless is different

For me, if buy jewelry (a watch is a form of jewelry, kind of, work with me here) and it drops from 4k to say, 700 in such a short amount of time... it's worthless

In that sense, it's worthless.

Now, a nice watch with a great design, name (i.e. rolex) etc, yes it will depreciate yes, but it won't be worthless because you will still want to wear it.
but it will be worthless to sell (you spend 8k, and it's worth say, 2-3k, that again is worthless to me in the sense of trying to recoup something)

kind of like cars... hence why I like to lease and get rid of them soon :P

an e46 M3 can be had for just a little more than a 330 nowadays! crazy.
Again, the car itself (i.e. watch itself) isn't worthless.
but trying to recoup anything from it is indeed a lot cause

Hope what I said made some sense lol
