When does the BMW F30 3-series body come out (meaning on the streets of USA)

Hi all,

I just want to know when the f30 body will hit the street. I searched but i can only find when it comes out. I am interested to know when i will actually see it on the streets.

The F30 3-series sedan should hit the street in the US in Spring 2012 (after its world debut @ 2012 Geneva Autoshow in March 2012).

F32 3-series coupe should follow approximately a year later.

Therefore, is it safe to assume that the 2012 model year for the 3 Series sedan will be the last for the E90 (sedan, of course)?

Also, any idea if the 2012 model year will begin with March 2011 production (like it did for 2011MY in March of 2010)?

The dealer CA's are giving me different stories so thanks for clearing this up.

I would assume that these are both correct, based on BMW's cycles. I have no knowledge to the contrary.

What are my options if my Z4 lease is up April 2012? I want to order the new F30 sedan.

might be tight timing dude... I would guess the f30 would realistically hit the US streets summer 2012, definitley not by April. I've heard of BMW doing short term lease extensions by a few months in these types of situations where you have a car on order to arrive a few months after your lease ends. So you get to keep the Z4 for a few extra months on a special contract. Never done it myself tho, but i've heard of this being done in some circumstances.

If you order a car, BMW will extend your lease month by month, up to 6 months (I think)

I believe E.O.P. for the 2011 E92 model run is June 2011. I think it's safer to assume that the 2013 E92 will begin production in March/April of 2012, being its final Model year.

No you did not, it's going to be at least a year until a new version is out. there will always be something new, be happy with your order.

If the world hasn't ended, at least.

Nah. The world isn't over until December 2012.

That said, a salesman yesterday told me the new one was out already in Europe and it'll be in the US in September of 2011.

Guys,

If the car debuts in March what makes you think the car will be in showrooms within 60-90 days??? You have to be kidding.
The car will be in US showrooms by Fall of 2012.

Your a year off. The old coupe will be in production while the new sedan is out. They did this with the E46 cars.

A rather dumb question.

Considering the fact that late 2012 to early 2013 will be the last set of e92's produced. So, can I speculate that perhap's we may be able to land a good deal on the last set of e92's. The purpose of this question is simply the fact that if I can get a better deal then I can try to drive my beater car for the next year or so in order to land a good deal.

I'm aware of this.
If the F30 comes out next year, the E92 will still be in production up until sometime in mid-2013. What did I miss?

F30 will be shown in Frankfurt, available in Europe in Feb/Mar 2012 and in the U.S. probably around the first of June 2012 as a 2013 model. This would follow standard BMW intro practices.

All signs/info have pointed to a F30 reveal at 2012 Geneva (March 2012), not 2011 Frankfurt (September 2011). Available in Europe in Spring of 2012 and in Spring-Summer of 2012 in the US. The production M5 will likely get its reveal at 2011 Frankfurt.
