Even with drag radials, can't do better than a 2.0 60'. Launch control doesn't work for warming up tires during burnout. And launch mode sucks for actual launching since it's just a 4k rpm clutch dump. So spinning un-heated 275-40-17 drag tires all through 1st and there is nothing I can do about it :/. Will have this worked out soon.

But in terms of power, this engine has decent potential. Not the same max power potential as the n54 but still pretty good given minimal mods.

Still a few more runs left. Guesses are welcome

guessing low 12.3 - 12.4 @ 117 assuming >15psi boost. Do I get a free N55 harness if I win?

I suppose my "guess" won't count since you SMS'd me the result!!

I can say that IMHO the trap speed is great for such minimal mods, but we need to work on getting heat into the DRs to show the true potential ET.... next job!!

October 15th Im taking my Cobra to the track to try to make a few 9 sec passes. I may bring the 335 as well which has AMS exhaust, and JB beta tune. If it clicks off a 12.9 id be happy!

So you're one of those guys that heats up DR's like it's a full slick? Couple quick spins to clean them off is all you really need to get them ready.

Here's my guess: 13.02 @ 108-9ish with the traction issues and a 2.0 60'

What type of Drag Radial? If its a Nitto forget about it, might as well throw them in the garbage. But it does depend on what type it is. Most DRs there is no need to get them super hot. I wouldnt run any less then 16-17psi COLD in them. Go around the water box, spin them for a few secs and that should work just perfect. Depending on what type of DR, a 4k clutch dump/launch control launch, unless its an M&H or MT DR, its not going to happen

MT drag radials at 16-19psi. So essentially a slick. Would have been better off with bfg drs with the 0.5 second long single tire spin that this car does in launch mode.

not sure If I misunderstood you, are you saying that w a LSD installed you still cant do a burnout due to some stupid electro-nanies? Or since the car doesnt have a true LSD you simply couldnt get both heated.
