Very nice!

Just curious--why no Zaino? Have you ever tried it? These pics look great--just wondering why you used the Mothers line instead....

Sweet! Nice Work. I've used Mother's on my previous ride - it does a good job imo.

Car looks great. Just shows that you can achieve great results with good prep and OTC products. Mother's has high quality products. Carnauba on black looks awsome!

I did not have a chance to go through a complete Zaino process, and temporaily given it up. It also appears to me the Zaino processes require a longer time of setting too. Jet Black paint seems responding very well to Mothers Sealer&Glaze (the 2nd step sealing and polishing). Some minor scratches on the JB soft paint are definitely lightened. The shine looks best without even have Carnuaba wax applied. Mothers Carnuaba wax is a fantastic product, the body paint feels much smoother after just one application. The car in the photos were taken after first wash since the 3-steps were completed two weeks ago. It looked even more shinning than the day I completed the 3-step. I have not further top up any Carnuaba wax on it, so it is still just one layer of Carnuaba wax on. We have 8 months of hot Summer, humid and rainy weather in a year, I would pick products whichever is easier to DIY. Will try Zaino when I am more used to elbow grease.

Looks very nice.

I use the Mothers 3 Step process too. I have received many compliments from random people. My friends nicknamed my car the silver bullet because of it being so shiny at night

My only complaint is how long it takes to put them on. This year I am going to try to clay bar first, then the 3-step with perhaps an extra coat of sealer or wax. I got a Porter Cable polisher for xmas so my arm won't fall off this time.

You can tell you worked at it. However...I've had JB cars a long time and have used Zaino exclusively. I haven't waxed the new 335i Coupe, yet; but, plan to do so in the next 30 days. For what it's worth, my cars have won the Judges Choice award two years running. It pays to work at it...but you do have to work at it

That is both the good and bad about JB--but it is the best, IMO. To the OP, once again, the car looks great. Glad you like the mothers line--all that matters is what works for you. I have not yet completed my first Zaino--my dad got me some for XMAS--but I am going to try this weekend!
