19" rims on a E90 Sportspack

Hi all, I recently (on the same day)had two punctures on my E90 that had run-flat tyres and had to put in a plug which I am not confortable with. I am thinking of changing the 17" that it comes with to 19" Ac Schnitzer rims but keeping the tyre size the same. 225 in the front and 255 at the back. I need some feedback considering it is a Sportspack which is low already

If you frequently get punctures, those 19" tires will be even costlier to replace!! my opinion is put on the 19's and see what it looks like. Car will sit slightly higher, but have a look and if you dont like it, you can always fit a lowering kit like Bilstein. Your ride will be even harder on the 19's cause they are lower profile (30 I think!)

Managed to get my hands on a set of 18" AC Schnitzer IV rims so looking forward to getting a nice set of tyre to go. Any words of advise. Looking at getting 225/35/18 for the front and 255/40/18 for the rear

Yes, the 18's look great on our cars!
The BMW dealers recommended sizes are 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear. After my first puncture on the rear and subsequent costly replacement, I changed the back to 245/40/18 and it still looks great, but cost R500 less per tyre!! I've got the Bridgestone Potenza's but there are some other great tyres out there. For example the Michelin Pilot Sport II or the Pirelli Zero's
