i would have hoped that my car was safer... would have prefered literally a "key less" entry... haha

that... and a BMW isnt a civic... i shouldn't need to put a steering wheel lock to prevent theft.

That really sucks though. I mean just thinking that someone could have access to your car when ever they want is Fd UP.

I mean, let's say someone want's info out of you, they could have a key made for your car and every night grab your papers/laptop and you wont even know they have it.

There are a tone of business people that depend on the safety of their BMW's.

they can also brake you window and take your info since the 3 series does not comes with alarm duh..
Worry about someone decoder your key , give me a break 40K car and does not have alarm

btw: it takes like 10-15 mins to compleate the process if they want to break into your car is faster to break a window.

You are missing the point here. The point is to get into your car without you even knowing it.

anyone can break into your car without you knowing it aswell guys w/o this set, you guys are seriously overreacting, and just4kicks, im pretty sure the car comes with an alarm that will go off if you break the windows while its locked, just not the facy motion detector one that they can install

everything they can do with this kit they can do without, and they make these sort of things for every manufacturer out there

What it comes down to is 16 combinations to open a car which I've just spent £40k on. I would be better off (financially and security-wise!) employing a monkey to watch my car. Then again, it could probably work out the 16 combinations and go off with my P&J! I'm not impressed and this is far from funny.

Bottom Line of this thread will be:
When they want to brake into your car they will manege it, with a key or without. The same with the alarm: if they have time enough and the knowlegde to hack the alarm, they will hack it and steel your car. Everything is possible, it's just a question of time.
Most important when they steal your car: Beware of having all the keys of the car and the papers which will evidence that you're the owner of the vehicle.
