Thats not aluminum, Thats the Titanium Trim.. It doesnt scratch and its pretty durable. Well at least not as easy as aluminum.

I see you have two center pieces; one with the iDrive knob and one without. I really have no idea what you are going to do with the extra pieces.

Thats cool, how are you going to get the Piano Black trim? Would the paint quality be any good? Would it look OEM?
