Aftermarket kidney grills: outer ring & inner slats separable?

Are any of the aftermarket black kidney grills a 2-piece construction like the OEM ones? If not, how about the BMW performance black ones? As most of you know, the OEM grill consists of 2 parts: the outer ring + the inner slats.

The reason I ask is because I want to replace the chrome slats, but keep the stock chrome outer ring. I don't want to paint it myself either because I want to keep the stock ones too, and I can't stand my own paint job.

I can't speak for other brands but ours are 2 piece like the oe pieces.

They are separable and are 2 piece as you mentioned and can be used with OEM components.
