Excellent. I'd love to spend a day there.

Who needs Charlie and the Chocolate factory, when you've got E90fleet and the e90 factory.

And the fruit of all that labor you see above is this... the very first E90 to roll off the plant at Leipzig (repost, I know)

I edited my first answer, Regensburg have started production

Apart from location

Munich also makes engines for BMW
Regensburg makes the 1 Series aswell
Leipzig is brand new and only opened in March
Rosslyn mostly makes RHD cars, but also some LHD mostly 325i for the USA

In terms of build quality, are there any differences among them?

If there are I don't think we'll know that for a while until people get their cars and problems start showing up on the cars built in one of these plants.

How would I know whether my car is built in Munich, Leipzig, Rosslyn or Regensburg?

Thanks.

Not sure if Regensburg is building E90 sedans. They build all M3s, Coupe and Convertible, all E46 Coupes and Tourings (I'm assuming the E46 touring production has stopped), and the 1-Series.

But Rosslyn has won the internal quality award for the last 6 years in a row

Thanks.

Letter in the VIN. Do not remember exactly which one. The window sticker will also state the final assembly point.

I do know that an 'N' used to represent a SA built 325i.

Someone used to have a really good one.

The first 3 are the country in which the car was produced, not the actual plant.
