I have also been looking into a break upgrade, pads hoses etc. Been looking at the Pagid RS421, seems to be ideal for fast road / light track. The Pagid RS29 Yellow seems to be the track choice for most.

Which kits are you comparing? Keep in mind the 7100/7150 kits were designed to clear the factory 18" wheels on the track.

I like the way brembos look but I cant tell you which is better for stopping power. Good thing about Brembos is that you can get custom colours.

I've only ever had one big brake upgrade and I went for AP's, I was very impressed with them and I would use them again

Good choice and as used by most F1 teams. Brembo is cosmetic jewellery imo bling bling. If you want good brakes.....AP all the way

Not sure if they are the best, but Evolve have been very good.

AP Racing set front and back is £4500 from thorney motorsport.

http://www.thorneymotorsport.co.uk/t...Upgrades.shtml

The Brembos can be bought from CA Automotive and are about £7000

http://www.ca-automotive.co.uk/produ...faWQ9MTA4.html

not sure why the brembos are so much more expensive than the brembos given that they are both 6 pot and 4 pot kits with 2 piece floating discs.

AP Racing are one of the biggest names in motorsport, and they're british too (Brembo is italian) so they get my vote !
