Glove box torch

Just a quick question: Does the glove box torch come as standard or is it an extra?

Hope you all had a great Christmas and your all set for the new year.

LCi models have no torch any longer

Socket in glovebox has been removed - there is space for a small pen type LED torch that takes a AAA battery in the glove box drop down lid.

They also removed seat back nets, armrest cup holder heating/cooling, ipod holder under armrest if 6FL spec'd as well as a few other things - tight gits

Haven't got the socket but there is a holder for the LED pen which is vacant and feeling rather left out Have the back nets but not arm rest cup holders.

In fact I think I have a mish-mash of a car..but she is still my pride and joy and wouldn't be without her

Gives me another reason to fire it up tonight

Pardon my ignorance but what is an LCi model?

If you have the i-drive controller with the 7 shortcut buttons around it then it is LCi

It will also have the torch socket removed out of the glovebox roof. Saloons also lose the chiller/heater facility in the armrest cup holder and the seat back netting.

Pretty sure LCi was introduced March 09 and later

LCI was only for Saloon.

Coupe LCI is due March this year. Although for the M3 its most likely only going to be new LED rear lights (change of new LED halos at the front but I doubt it). Nothing else major.

Oh well after all that I guess I'll go to the dealers and ask if I can have a LED torch........of course I'll prepare myself for a slice of disappointment!
